The client is an e-commerce store specializing in diapers, offering a range of products designed for infants and toddlers. The diapers are known for their comfort, absorbency, and eco-friendly materials.

Problem Statement:

Before partnering with us, the client was achieving a solid Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) of 16.1 with an ad spend of 2,000€ over the previous two months, generating approximately 17,856€ in revenue. Despite this strong performance, the client aimed to push these results even further, seeking to maximize their advertising efficiency and revenue while also reducing their Cost Per Acquisition (CPA).

Strategy

We focused on optimizing the client’s existing Facebook and Instagram Ads campaigns, leveraging the high ROAS they were already achieving while making targeted improvements to further enhance performance and reduce CPA.

Facebook and Instagram Ads Optimization

    • Audience Segmentation: We performed a detailed analysis of the customer base, segmenting the audience based on factors such as purchasing behavior, interests in eco-friendly and baby products, and demographic data like age and parental status. This allowed us to create highly targeted ad campaigns that resonated with parents looking for high-quality diapers.
    • Creative Testing: We developed a series of ad creatives, including product-focused videos, carousel ads showcasing different diaper varieties, and testimonials from satisfied parents. A/B testing was conducted to identify the most effective creative elements, leading to higher engagement and conversion rates.
    • Retargeting Campaigns: We implemented dynamic retargeting ads to reach users who had previously visited the website or added items to their carts but hadn’t completed their purchases. This approach helped convert interested shoppers into buyers, further driving down the Cost Per Purchase.
    • Lookalike Audiences: Leveraging Facebook’s Lookalike Audience feature, we expanded the reach by targeting new customers who shared similar characteristics with the client’s best customers, helping to drive more sales at a low cost.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

    • Landing Page Refinement: We made minor tweaks to the landing pages, ensuring that the product descriptions were clear and the benefits of the diapers were highlighted effectively. We also streamlined the checkout process to reduce cart abandonment.
    • Trust Signals: Additional trust signals, such as customer reviews and eco-friendly certifications, were added to the product pages to increase customer confidence and encourage purchases.

ROAS

Increased from 16.1 to 20.2 within 90 days.

Revenue

Grew from approximately 17,856€ to 60,600€, based on an increased ad spend of 3,000€, with an average order value (AOV) of 45€ and a Cost Per Purchase of 2.70€.

CPA

Reduced by 31% within 90 days, further improving the efficiency of the ad spend and contributing to the overall increase in profitability.
